Our Programmes
Three ways to support your family through change
Choose the programme that fits your family's situation — a focused single session, a practical planning day, or an extended coordination programme with ongoing check-ins.
Back to HomeOur Approach
How every Hearthlink programme is built
Understand your situation
Before the first session, we talk through your family's situation and the programme you are considering. We answer questions and clarify what we can and cannot help with.
Teach practical frameworks
Sessions are built around learning-by-doing. We introduce a framework, model how it works, and give families time to practise it in a supported environment before taking it home.
Produce a tangible output
Every programme produces something families can use: a completed reference guide, an organised folder, or a full family binder with labelled sections ready to fill.
Point you to the next step
When formal professional involvement is needed, we tell you clearly and point you toward solicitors, mediators, or the appropriate government department — not further Hearthlink sessions.
Programme 01
Calm Conversations Workshop
A supportive, skills-based workshop where family members learn simple frameworks for listening well and speaking calmly during a time of change. The content is purely educational — guided practice in a structured setting, with a take-home reference guide. This is not counselling or personal advice.
- Communication frameworks adapted from adult education practice
- Guided practice in pairs and as a group
- Take-home reference guide included
- Single half-day session (approx. 3.5 hours)
- Held at our Petaling Jaya office
Programme fee
RM 560
How the workshop unfolds
Welcome & framing
We introduce the session structure, establish ground rules, and clarify the scope and purpose of the workshop.
Listening framework
A simple, evidence-based model for active listening — taught, modelled, and then practised in pairs with facilitated reflection.
Speaking calmly
Techniques for expressing needs and concerns clearly without escalation. Practised in small group exercises.
Take-home guide & close
Participants receive a printed guide summarising the frameworks and how to use them at home. Q&A and close.
Programme 02
Shared Planning & Records Organisation
A practical session that helps your family gather and arrange everyday documents and shared information into one clear, labelled folder. We focus on organisation and coordination only. For anything requiring formal professional handling, we point you to the right people. Includes templates and checklists tailored to the session.
- Guided document sorting and labelling session
- Custom templates and checklists included
- Clear signposting to professionals for formal matters
- Approx. 2.5–3 hours, held at our PJ office
- Can involve one or more family members
Programme fee
RM 2,000
How the session is structured
Intake & overview
We discuss which everyday documents and categories of information the session will cover and confirm what falls outside our scope.
Sorting & labelling
Using our templates, the family works through each document category, sorting materials into clear, labelled sections with facilitator guidance.
Gaps & referrals
We note any items that require professional involvement and provide a written list of the appropriate services or government offices to contact.
Handover & close
The completed folder, all templates, and a checklist of next steps are handed over at the end of the session.
Programme 03
Continuing Family Coordination Programme
A multi-session programme that combines communication workshops, shared planning conversations, and organisation of everyday family information into one accessible place. Designed to support respectful, steady coordination over time. Includes a family binder and follow-up check-ins for factual matters after the sessions are complete.
- All content from Programmes 01 and 02, integrated
- Multiple sessions scheduled at your family's pace
- Physical family binder with organised, labelled sections
- Follow-up check-ins for factual clarification after completion
- All templates, checklists, and reference guides included
Programme fee
RM 4,450
How the programme progresses
Initial conversation
We discuss your family's situation, confirm the programme scope, and schedule the session sequence at a pace that works for everyone.
Communication sessions
Two to three workshop sessions covering the listening and speaking frameworks from Programme 01, with family-specific practice built in.
Planning & binder session
The records and shared planning work from Programme 02, expanded and assembled into the family binder with all labelled sections complete.
Check-ins & close
Follow-up check-ins after programme completion to answer factual questions about the materials and confirm any referral pathways needed.

Programme Standards
What every Hearthlink programme follows
Confidentiality
All information shared in sessions is handled in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010. Nothing is passed on without your consent.
Clear scope declaration
Every programme begins with an explicit statement of what Hearthlink does and does not do. No ambiguity about our role.
Regular content review
Programme materials are reviewed every six months to keep them current, relevant, and aligned with best practice in family communication education.
Impartial facilitation
Facilitators are trained to remain neutral. No family member is favoured, and no position is taken on decisions that are not ours to make.
Referral readiness
We maintain an up-to-date list of family law practitioners, mediators, and government services so we can point you in the right direction whenever formal support is needed.
Post-session feedback
We collect structured feedback from all participants and use it to improve our programmes. Your experience shapes what we do next.
Not sure which programme to start with?
Get in touch and we will talk through your family's situation before you make any decisions. There is no commitment in reaching out.
